Q The Remote has a wire sticking out of the bottom. Is this a fault?
No that is the aerial. It is designed to increase the range.

Q How long do the batteries last?
Obviously it depends on the use of the unit, but some of our test and demo units have had the same batteries in for 2 months.We estimate a standard PP3 battery will last around 2-3 days with continuous use on the EBox and around 8 hours with the ABox. If you are not planning to use the unit for a while then we suggest you remove the battery to avoid damage.

Q Are the electrodes compatible with the Series 2?
Yes. All of our accessories are compatible with all of our control boxes, and, with suitable adaptors the Series 1, Series 2, the ABox and the Remote can drive a wide range of electrodes produced by other manufacturers.

Q How Safe is it?
Like many manufacturers of adult items, we can only sell our units on the strict understanding that they are novelty items. However they have a number of features that ensure that they are as safe as they can be made, with built in current limiting, input over voltage protection and operation from batteries. E-Stim does have a number of safety considerations, mainly to ensure that no current passes through the heart etc (see warning panel below) especially if pacemakers or other medical devices are in use.

Contact points should be secure and if possibly lubricated, E-Stim could possibly cause burns at high levels with small contact areas. This is the reason we suggest that piercing's are NOT used as a contact point.

You should also NOT use any form of Electro Stimulation if you have a heart condition, suffer from Epilepsy or are pregnant.

Q Can I run the Control unit from the mains?
NO. Although it is technically possible we strongly recommend that you do NOT try. Using batteries provides a system that is totally mains safe. Mains isolation systems are fine, but I would not want to be the one who discovers that the isolation has failed and I, or my subject are directly wired to the mains!!!

Q What does it feel like?
Electro play is a wonderful flexible range of sensations that can be varied from a mild to a more intense 'tingling' feeling. It is direct stimulation of the nerve ends much like a vibrator but since it operates directly on the nervous system it give a deeper, more intense feeling. All people are different so some people will find certain levels and settings to be more pleasurable..the secret is to take your time and experiment, but above all be safe.

Q Will it leave marks.
Generally no. But should you incur any adverse reactions, such as skin tenderness while using an Electro-Stimulation unit it is recommended that you discontinue its use.

Q Can I use the EBox/ABox/Remote if I have a heart condition?
If you have a heart condition you should NOT use any kind of electro-therapy unless recommended by your medical practitioner.

Q Can I use it across my nipples?
Despite what you might see on electro sex groups we strongly advise against using any E-Stim equipment across the nipples. The heart is a rather important piece of your body that runs on electrical signals ...Passing a current across the chest from any E-Stim equipment MAY disrupt its operation. To play safe stick to stimming below the waist (and remember hand to hand may pass across the chest.. a definite NO.NO.)

Q Can I use a condom on the electrodes?
No, as the electrodes rely on contact with the body, a condom will provide an insulator, preventing the electrode from working. The best method to ensure protection from infection is to ensure that you have your own electrodes and you don't share with others. Ensure you clean the electrodes thoroughly both before and after use.

Q Can I clean the electrodes in a dishwasher?
Yes you can clean all of our turned electrodes in a dishwasher, although we suggest you ensure that no cleaning solution is left in any crevice. Ensure the electrode is completely dry before storage.

Q Do you have a shop?
No, as we are manufacturers we only sell direct either via mail order from our web site, or the various events we attend. We can also arrange for collections from our workshop in Watford. This way we can guarantee that you will receive the excellent service we are well known for. However we regularly attend BDSM and Kink related events with a selection of our equipment for sale so if you are interested then why not come along and visit our stand? Q Where else can I buy them?
We have started wholesaling our products through a select number of establishments. We will soon post a list of these businesses. In the meantime you can purchase directly from us safe in the knowledge that you are dealing with a company interested in what we produce and sell rather than a company who is just interested in how many boxes they can shift in a month.

Q Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. All of our products are sold with a 12 month warranty. However out of that period, in the unlikely event of any item requiring attention we will, at our discretion repair or replace the unit free of charge. You simply pay the shipping to us, we will pay the shipping back to you.
